Like most homeowners, the clients for this Seattle beachfront location had unique needs and an evolving vision for what their home could be. Dyna carefully and quickly brought their vision to fruition. An open kitchen and living area takes full advantage of the view with a raised ceiling, large windows and sliding doors that open onto a deck overlooking the Puget Sound. The master bath combines luxury and functionality with an ample steam room/shower that is wheelchair accessible. Radiant floor heat warms the entire house. On the lower level, an entertainment room has a built-in AV system. A 111-inch drop down screen and wet bar adjacent to a climate-controlled wine cellar maximizes entertaining options. Reclaimed fir flooring gives the home additional style and character. The homeowner also contributed such personal touches as a reclaimed old growth warehouse beam installed as a column in the main floor living room and a slab of Port Orford cedar that serves as one of the kitchen's floating countertops.
